Jillas Cosplay

This is the Project That Ate My Life (and left orange fur all over the house). - a costume of Jillas from Slayers Try. All of the costume parts were made by me. It was definitely a learning experience; I'd never made a shirt or a pair of pants before this, and the fursuit head was a long exercise in trial and error.

Although there are a few mistakes that still bug me, I'm pleased with the end result; he went to Nakamacon in Madison, WI (anime/furry/steampunk convention- two out of three ain't bad!) where he was stopped for many photos and came back with a shiny trophy from the costume contest.

Unfortunately, I didn't notice he'd lost a ball off of his belt until after this picture was taken. Oops.

P.S. Using foamies to stiffen glove cuffs? BAD IDEA. No breathing or wicking at all = gross. Lesson learned.
